The memory of Doris Carey of Rushville, Illinois, who passed away on September 15, 2025 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Sanders and Angeline Sanders (Foley); and her siblings, Frank, Harold, Tony Sanders, Angie Matson and Elizabeth Ulinski.

She is survived by: her husband Melvin Carey; her children, Rhonda Roberts (Neil) of Mt. Sterling, Melanie Hebenstreit (Mark) of Camden and Jeffrey Carey of Elkhart; her grandchildren, Carinne Perdew, Devin Carey, Kayla Paisley, Grant Hebenstreit, Shanna Roberts, Jakob Hebenstreit, Kylie DeWitt and Kiana Hebenstreit; and her sister Dolores Joplin (John) of Springfield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
