He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Vaughn and Hazel Vaughn (Anderson); his wife Doris Irene Vaughn (Estes); his granddaughter Beth Vaughn; and his in-laws, Mary Frances Cunningham (Russell) and Joan Rice (Lloyd).
He is survived by: his children, Gale Vaughn (Jaci) of Jacksonville, Gary Vaughn (Debbie) of Rushville, Ronald Vaughn (Annette) of Rushville, Donald Vaughn (Angel) of Rushville, Beth Stambaugh (Neal) of Browning and Vicki Vaughn of Table Grove; his grandchildren, Drew Vaughn (Jenny), Brian Vaughn (Lindsay), Branden Vaughn, Sarah Vaughn, Amy Ward (Terry), Nic Vaughn (Natalia Gathmann), Ryu Vaughn, Zak "Leo" Vaughn, Tia Vaughn (Jordan Hynek), Ady Vaughn (Christian West), Raven Vaughn, Shon Vaughn, Dawson Vaughn and Jenna Wooldridge (Adam); his great grandchildren, Jacqueline, Eduardo, Roberto, Carolina Vaughn, Krista, Austin Vaughn, Christian, Gabbie Ward, Trevor Perry, Amelia Ward, Hadley, Aurora Vaughn, Benji, Damian Hynek and Jaxson Maltby; his great great grandchildren, Arya, Kamdyn Coulter and Alayla Vaughn; and his siblings-in-law, Gene Ralston and Betty Paisley (Larry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Rushville-Industry High School FFA.
