With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rudolph Taborn of Sadorus, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Rudolph left this world on December 9, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid adieu to Rudolph's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Rudolph has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rueben Taborn and Alice Mae Taborn (Wooten); and his wife Rosemary Carpenter. He is survived by: his daughter Robin Styan (Greg) of Sadorus; and his grandchildren, John Rudolph of Champaign and Kelli Harward (Chris) of San Antonio. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Quest United Methodist Church (2004 Philo Rd, Urbana, IL 61802). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
