Carey M. Ortman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carey M. Ortman of Saint Anne, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 20, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George M. Pierce and Geraldine A. Pierce (Johnson); and her brother David Pierce. She is survived by: her husband Steven J. Ortman of St. Anne; her children, Christina Nakanishi (Jack) of Chicago, Sam Ortman (Lisa) of St. Anne, Daniel Ortman (Autumn Dandurand) of St. Anne and Stephanie Grosso (Robert) of St. Anne; her siblings, Kelley Tucker of Bourbonnais and George M. Pierce (Joanne) of Waterloo, IL; and her grandchildren, Owen Ortman, Colin Ortman, Broden Dandurand, SJ Ortman, Jack Nakanishi, Hayden Ortman and Vance Ortman.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Carey's name to Bishop McNamara Catholic School or Susan G Komen.
