She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Pierson and Gloria Pierson (Gorbert); her sister Vicki; and her brother-in-law Albert Sparrow. She is survived by: her sons, Paul Schmitz (Diana) of Surprise, Arizona, James Schmitz (Ashley) of Saint Anne and Allan Hertzberger of Bloomington, Illinois; her siblings, Julie Leary of Morris, Illinois, David Pierson (Dolores) of Kankakee and Daniel Pierson (Karen) of Bourbonnais; and her grandchildren, Griffin Schmitz, Hannah Scroggins and Lexi Scroggins. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
