It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Jon Slingerland of Saint Anne, Illinois, who passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Slingerland and Junella Slingerland (Hoekstra). He is survived by: his wife Deb Kurth of St. Anne; his daughters, Becky Krones (John) of Manteno, IL and Lauren Stephens (Dan) of Champaign, IL; his granddaughters, Alice, Molly and Sadie; and his siblings, Cheryl Schiebout and Barry Slingerland. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Red Cross.
