He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Young and Susan Young (Havens); his brothers, Donald Young, Russell and Leslie Young; his grandchildren, Jennifer Hartman and Michael A. Hartman; his great grandchild Hailey Hartman; and his brothers-in-law, Leonard Jankiewicz and Patrick Schimpf.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Young of St. Anne; his children, Cheryl Hartman (John) of Herscher, David Young (Elizabeth) of Kankakee and Kurt Young (Lois) of Bourbonnais; his grandchildren, Kathleen Hubert (Tony), Emma Young and Reed Young; his great grandchildren, Michael C. Hartman, Andrew Hubert and Annaliese Hubert; his brother Robert Young of Lockport; and his sisters-in-law, Rosemary Jankiewicz, Carol Schimpf and Eleanor Tichy (Dick). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
