It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teresa Mitchell Mixon of Saint Anne, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 17, 2023, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her mother Connie Mitchell. She is survived by : her father Joe Mitchell of Palatka, Florida; her husband Bill Mixon of Kankakee; her children, Jessica Taylor (Kevin) of St. Anne, Jocelyn Mitchell of St. Anne, Jeffery Mason (Alexis) of Hayworth and Jace Mason of St. Anne; her siblings, Christina Fresse of New Lenox, Gary Mitchell of Aroma Park, Tom Mitchell (Trisha) of Manteno, Jeremy Mitchell (Deseree) of Green Cove, Tonnia Taylor of Bradley and Jason Taylor of Panama City, Florida; her grandchildren, Leslie, Courtney, Victoria, Vivianna, Vanessa, Alessa, Alexander, Alexis, Dovie and Jesse; and her great grandchildren, Mariah and Brayden. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
