She was predeceased by: her parents, Ebubekir Guney and Emine Guney (Gulsun); and her siblings, Betul Guney, Cemil Guney and Nejla Guney.
She is survived by: her husband Yuhan Erkan; her children, Michael Erkan (Anette), Tony Erkan (Aida) and Shelley Lara (Fabian); and her grandchildren, Frankie Lara, Alexandria Stege (Xavier), Leyla Erkan, Rosemarie Vega, Dean Jagger and James Cox. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
