He was predeceased by: his father Joseph P. Calabrese; and his sister Sharon Calabrese. He is survived by: his children, Kim Newton (Brandon) and Courtney Calabrese (Josh Reed); his grandchildren, Frances Newton, Henry Newton, Violet Newton, Penny Pickle, Ranger, Sylvester and Lila; and his siblings, Mary Lynn Johnston (Bill) and Michael Calabrese (Patti).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in Joseph's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Lurie Children's Hospital.
