She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Schmitt and Winifred Schmitt. She is survived by: her children, Mary Kirby (Alan) and Al Schmitt (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Jessica Kijak, Robert Kijak and Andrew Kijak (Carol) of Illinois; her brothers, Jonathan and James Schmitt (Kathy) of Ohio; and her siblings' children, Amy Schmitt of Ohio, James C. Schmitt and Michael D. Schmitt of Ohio.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moss Norris Funeral Home (100 S 3rd St, St. Charles, IL 60174). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
