He is survived by: his daughter Hunter; his parents, Sharlene Pearson and Emil Mortimer (Belinda); and his siblings, Micheal Mortimer, Michele Doyle (Bill), Martin Mortimer (Shannon), Melissa Gassmann (Bob), David Mortimer, Tyler Mortimer, John, Barbara Allen, Chad Allen (Jeanne) and Beth Allen.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moss-Norris Funeral Home (100 S 3rd St, St. Charles, IL 60174). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Community Church (820 S Randall Rd, South Elgin, IL 60177).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial gifts be made to the Integrative Access Foundation, so that Mark's mission of bringing hope, possibility and access to others facing cancer can continue.
