He was predeceased by: his parents, David Coe and Emma Coe; his brothers, John and Robert Coe; and his sister-in-law Julee Kryder Coe.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Coe; his son David Coe (Wayne Petro); his stepson Jeffrey Evenson (Stacey Evenson); his stepgrandchildren, Jack and Terra Evenson; his stepdaughter Jody Evenson (Thomas Taylor, Jr.); his stepgrandson Sam Taylor; his sister-in-law Jane Coe; his nieces, Cati Coe (Cheryl Shipman), Cindy Coe (Matt Altman) and Kirsten Kryder Coe (Molly Costanza-Robinson); and his nephew Justin Coe (Lindsey Coe).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Society (102 S 2nd St, Geneva, IL 60134).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Unitarian Universalist Society of Geneva (https://www.uusg.org.), where Peter was an active member, or to Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans (https://www.helpaveteran.org.), supporting homeless veterans, a cause close to his heart.
