He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Girdwain and Bernice Girdwain (Okunis). He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Kamba; his daughters, Jessica Migala (Chris) and Alyssa Girdwain; his grandsons, Duncan and Avery Migala; his sister Theresa Girdwain; his father-in-law Lawrence Kamba; and his sisters-in-law, Laurene Oie (Mark) and Dawn Hackney. He is also survived by one niece and four nephews.
