She is survived by: her children, Oscar (Sharon), Jorge (Christine), Hernan (Jaymee), Jaime Jr. (Lenore), Carlos (Judy), Walt (Mary), Magda Wesslund (Eric Schwartz), Ernesto (Heidi), Dario (Kymm) and Liliana Bates (Robert); her grandchildren, Natasha Oeklerking (Christian), Oscar Jr. (Jill), Patrick (Hailey), Jennifer Nix (Will), Julie Schulze (Stephen), Anthony (Stacy), Timothy (Gretchen), Daniel (Tammy), Steven (Erin), Christopher (Natalie), Brian (Aleksandra), Victoria Pierce (Nicholas), Andrea LaDow (Bryan), Isabel, Sean Wesslund (Laura), Marissa Wesslund, Taylor Payne (Dylan), Paige James (Zachary), Stefanie Carusso (Joseph), Christina Huber (Trevor), Dario Antonio, Zachary Bates (Maryjane) and Joanna Bates; and her great grandchildren, Miranda, Jacob, Sadie, Tyler Gabriella, Greyson, Gemma, Amelia, Grady, Taryn, Emma, Walker, Winnie, Samantha, Troy, Eliana, Fiona, Finn, Anderson, Neal, Elliot, Anthony, Pierce, Sophia, Elinor, Grace, Carson, Rocco, Luca, Joseph, Jaime, Vivienne and Julietta.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Malone Funeral Home (324 E State St, Geneva, IL 60134). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
