He is survived by: his mother Marilyn Straiker; his wife Mary Straiker; his daughters, Carolyn Straiker Forsthoefel (Alex) and Christine Owens (Tyler); his grandchildren, Mia, Walker, Phoebe, Brinley and Kennedy; and his siblings, Michele Straiker, Melanie Kingman (Craig) and Mary Weiss (Steve). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lazarus' House, Northern Illinois Food Bank, or a scholarship fund, the name of which will be updated at a later date.
