She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Blurton and Mary S. Tish Blurton; her husband Frederick Otto Dananay; and her siblings, Delbert Blurton, Lois Elliott and Mary Monk.
She is survived by: her nephew Matthew Monk (Jennifer Blythe) of Mitchell, Illinois; her niece Mary Schefft (Paul) of Glen Carbon; and her sister Lola Jean Blurton of Killeen, Texas. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pagel Funeral Home- St. Elmo (100 Olive St, St Elmo, IL 62458). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pagel Funeral Home (100 Olive St, St Elmo, IL 62458).
