She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Henry Welch and Bertha A. Fender; and her stepson Michael Denton. She is survived by: her husband Kent "PeeWee" Denton of St. Elmo; her children, Gary Denton (Sheila) of Salem, Illinois and April Albaugh (Rob) of Highland, Illinois; her stepchildren, Bradley Denton of Salem, Illinois and Sherry Shamhart (Vern) of Wheeler, Illinois; and her siblings, J. R. Weeks of Champaign, Illinois, Linda Kelly of Edgewood and Rosalie Zachary of Mahomet, Illinois.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Horizons Church or the donor's choice.
