He was predeceased by: his parents, Odis Pattillo and Rachel Pattillo (Hudson); his son Steven "Blake" Pattillo; his stepmother Chloe Pattillo; and his brothers, James "Jim" Russell Pattillo and Dewayne Hamlin.

He is survived by: his significant other Janet; his children, Laura Hansen (Bart) of Joelton, Tennessee, James "Aaron" Pattillo of Effingham, Judy Trier of Round Lake, Lisa Chitwood (Ken) of Shiloh, Illinois and Troy Pattillo (Vici) of St. Elmo; his daughter-in-law Lori Pattillo of Weatherford, Texas.; and his sister Ann Shyer (Ron) of Brenham. He is also survived by grandchildren.

Donations can be made to the Lutheran Care Center in Steve's memory in lieu of flowers, if so desired.
