Terry Buchanan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Terry Buchanan of Saint Elmo, Illinois, who passed away on January 29, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Buchanan and Arah Buchanan (Hawk); his granddaughter Keirsty Hughes; and his brother Gary Buchanan. He is survived by: his daughter Candy Prose (Jason); his grandchildren, Kairei Hughes and Devin Prose (Sydney Norris); his great grandchildren, Deklan Prose, Jayce Durbin and Kameron Hughes; his brother David Buchanan (Bobbie); his nieces and nephews, Sara, Connor, Izzy and Diana Williams (Robert); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Heather, Tiffany (Nate), Oliver, Lincoln, Wes, Lane and Jordan.
Memorials in Terry's honor may be made to the Vietnam Veteran Foundation or Shriner's Hospital for Children and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
