He was predeceased by: his parents, William Creston "Creck" Merrill and Ruth Luellen Merrill (Harris); his sister Rose Richardson; and his grandson Britton Merrill. He is survived by: his wife Angie Merrill of St. Elmo; his sons, Michael Merrill (Deb) and Trever Merrill (Cassie) of Louisville; his siblings, Pat (Rollin Duckwitz), Linda Snyder, Kenny Merrill, Rick Merrill (Corina), Orville Merrill (Jan) and Les Bivins (Sis); and his grandchildren, Lacey Merrill, Brianna Merrill, Will Ferguson, Scarlett Eason, Ruby Eason and Stevi Webber. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
