He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Randolph Johnson and Frances Garvey Johnson; his wife Janet Freshour; his children, Sommer Phipps (John) of Bridgeport and Lucas Johnson of Bridgeport, Illinois; his brother Wayne Johnson (Cheryl) of St. Francisville; his sisters-in-law, Sherri Frederick (John) of St. Francisville and Mary Alice Martin of Inez, Texas; and his grandchildren, Auston Phipps (Cassie Daugherty), Landon Phipps and Lainey Phipps.
