He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernis C Smith and Vivian L. Smith; and his brothers, Charles Wells Smith and James Bernis Smith. He is survived by: his wife Mary K. Smith; and his sister Debra Ann Rodriguez of Denver, NC.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
