She was loved and cherished by many people including: children: Natalie (Everett) Miller, Thomas Bedwell, and Jamie Jessup; parents: Curtis Ira Dayton and Dixie Marie (Brown) Dayton; siblings: Mattie Vaughn, Dorothy Swalls, Brenda Bedwell, Blanche Corey, Mae Nash, William "Bill" Dayton, Waine Dayton, and Velma Sam's; husbands: Thomas Lee Bedwell Sr. and James Grant Jessup; grandchildren: Michael; great-grandchildren: Axle and Gunnar; and many nieces and nephews, and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. Hope Cemetery (1025 County Rd 2125 E, Sidney, IL 61877). Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Freese Funeral Home (202 W Main St, Sidney, IL 61877).
