Shirley Rothermel Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Shirley Rothermel of Saint Joseph, Illinois. Shirley, born on April 13, 1934, passed away on September 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Glenn Rothermel; her son Mike Rothermel; her siblings, William Bane, Stanton Bane and Beverly Patton; and her close friend Bernita Ashwill of Tuscola.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Allen (David) of St. Joseph; her grandson Logan; her daughter-in-law Judy Rothermel of Tolono; her granddaughter Rebecca; and her great grandchild Mariah. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (390 County Rd 2400 E, Broadlands, IL 61816). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
