With sadness, we share the passing of Daniel E. Thessing of Saint Libory, Illinois. Daniel, born on February 11, 1951 in Belleville, Illinois, passed away on August 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse H. Hundelt (Francis A.) and Thessing Hundelt; his stepfather Urban H. Hundelt; his brothers, Richard "Preacher" Thessing and Paul Thessing; his nephew Drew Lintker (Kurtiss Lintker); and his sister-in-law Claudette Bergmann.
He is survived by: his wife Barb; his children, Lori Blue, Ben Thessing (Tracy) and Doug Thessing (Kayla); his grandchildren, Nolan, Connor, Claire Blue, Finley, Fletcher Thessing, Cora and Everett Thessing; his sister Ann Tweedy; his father-in-law Robert Lintker (LaVerne); and his siblings-in-law, Lisa Schmale (Allen), Ken Lintker and Keith Bergmann. He is also survived by aunts, nieces, and nephews.
