With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eileen M Surmeier of Saint Libory, Illinois, who passed away on March 23, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Lawrence M. (Antoinette M.); her husband Ralph T. Surmeier; her son Darrell Surmeier; and her siblings, Richard and Karen Sommer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lynn McCammon (Dave), Michelle Comley (Mike) and Sara Rockaway (Jim); her grandchildren, Ben McCammon (Jessica), Emily Maasen (Michael), Jack McCammon (Christine), Connor Ryan (Charlotte), Daniel Ryan (Grace), Meghan Ryan (Jacque), Ralph, Violett, Sam and Jake Rockaway; her great grandchildren, Henry, Charlie, Ada, Juliette and Dean; and her siblings, Ray Sommer (Sue), Gerry Sommer (Betty), Jim Sommer (Cheryl), Jane Beimfohr and Geralyn Hollis (Jim). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
