She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bergfeld and Irene Bergfeld (Westendorf); her children, Scott Lotz (Diane Collier) and Sandy Buzzard; her son-in-law Dean Buzzard; and her brother Dan Bergfeld.
She is survived by: her husband Carroll Lotz of St. Peter; her grandchildren, Kaitlin Sowle (Tyler) of Fair Play, MO and Mitchell Buzzard of St. Elmo; and her sisters, Kathleen French of Effingham, Diane Marquis of Mt. Zion, Jane Swofford (Tim) of Decatur and Connie Bergfeld of Energy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Lutheran Church (605 E 3rd St, St Peter, IL 62880). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church & School, or donor's choice.
