It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Ray Heflin of Salem, Illinois, who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Billy Ray departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Billy Ray. Though Billy Ray may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Heflin and Marie Heflin (Baker); and his siblings, Betty Lee Heflin and Joe Leslie Heflin. He is survived by: his wife Lorene; and his children, Ricky David Heflin, Randall Dwayne Heflin and Barbara Heflin.
