With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Onhiser Sr. of Salem, Illinois, who passed away on July 9, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Onhiser and Betty Onhiser (Mercer); and his sister Sue Antley. He is survived by: his children, J. P. Onhiser Jr. (Sara) of Salem, Scott Tadlock (Kelli) of Odin, Robert Weimann of Moss Bluff and Canna Erbes (Darrell) of Centralia; his fiancée Lisa Williams of Salem; his grandchildren, Brittany (Clayton), Draven, Stephanie, Abbigail (Logan), Madison, Allee, Ashlin, Alexiana and Kyra; his stepchildren, Mikela Williams, Miriah Slygh, Sarah Williams and Sylivia Williams; and his nephew Sam Antley. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to J.P. Onhiser Jr. and will be accepted at Sutherland-Rankin Funeral Home, PO Box 97 / 310 N. Broadway, Salem, Illinois 62881, who is honored to be of service to Jerry's family at this time.
