With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth L. Day of Salem, Illinois, born in Sandoval, Illinois, who passed away on February 15, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Kenneth Day and Zelma Day (Cummins); and his siblings, Alice Holt Hickson, Frances Wurm, Jane West and Dean Day.
He is survived by : his wife Della Day; his children, Kim Larkin (David) of Carbondale, IL, Kellie Grapperhaus (Joe) of Patoka, IL and Kad Day (Stephan) of Riverside, CA.; his grandchildren, Keith Larkin (Kelsey), Darren Larkin (Jenna), Adam Grapperhaus (Amanda), Erin Grapperhaus (Jeff) and Isaac Grapperhaus (Megan); his great grandchildren, Allie Jayne Larkin, Wade Michael Larkin, Will David Larkin, Landen Joseph Grapperhaus, Emma Rayne Grapperhaus, Josey Mae McKenna, Logan Patrick McKenna and Nash Henry Grapperhaus; his brother Bob Day (Carolyn) of Centralia, IL; and his great grandchildren, Cardinal Baseball and Illini Basketball.
