It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Marie Johnson of Salem, Illinois, born in Belknap, Illinois, who passed away on November 12, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Hiram Crawford and Minabelle Crawford (Wallace); and her husband Robert E. "Bob" Johnson. She is survived by : her children, Mickey (Kendrea Johnson) of Mt. Vernon, IL and Tonya Salomon (Ken) of Key Largo, Florida; and her grandchildren, Gilbert Johnson (Lara) of St. Louis, MO, Yvette Johnson of Springfield, Peyton Blodgett of Champaign, Jolene Blodgett of Champaign and Lily Salomon of Key Largo, Florida..
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Honor of Ruth M. Johnson to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at the Sutherland - Rankin Funeral Home, 310 N.
