She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Roberta "Pete" and Gordon "Bud" Hoeft; her granddaughter Tressa Harmon; her sister Diane Hoeft; her husband Randy Earl Thomas; and her children, Angella Eldridge (Steve) of Pekin, Heather Thomas of San Jose, Chris Thomas (Brandi) of Pekin, Ryan Thomas (Heather) of Pekin, Nicole Schaffrin (Jeff) of Metamora, Joseph Thomas (Jen) of Spring Lake, Seth Thomas (Breanne) of Spring Lake, Dustin Thomas (Julia) of San Jose, Ashley France (Gary) of Metamora and Dylan Thomas (Rachelle) of Green Valley.

Ken Wiseman wrote a sympathy message

“my 2nd mom is going to be missed! She was as good of a lady you could ever imagine. My only regret is my ship is still out there somewhere it never came in. ( between me and Nancy ) My condollances to Randy and all the kids and grandkids and great grand kids”
