Bobby Splechter Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Splechter of Sandoval, Illinois, who passed away on May 2, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Verda Mae Splechter (Green) and Joseph Splechter; his siblings, Margaret Redman, Jewel Hohensee, Carl Splechter, Harry Splechter, Jimmy Spechter and Bonnie Noreen Hart; and his son-in-law Brad Wolenhaupt.
He is survived by: his spouse Verta Lee Skeen; his children, Charles Joseph Splechter (Terri) of Sandoval, Becky Allen (Norman) of Sandoval and Lisa Wolenhaupt Centralia; his grandchildren, Gary Gelsinger, Robbie Gelsinger, LeeAnn Gelsinger, Brionna Bierman, Kasey Rankin, Kathryn Bouchard, Tim Wolenhaupt and Chris Wolenhaupt; his great grandchildren, Mark, Taylor, Hailey, Jenna, Cody, Jordan, Benjamin, Abigail, Tayshia, Tatiyona, Jessica, Noah, Carter, Malakhai, Isla, Aria and Rhys; and his great great grandchildren, Ryan, Aries, Ariella and Ahjunaya. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Memorials may be made in Bobby's honor to Centralia VFW Post 2055 American Legion Post 446 and will be accepted for his family at the Day Macz Funeral Home in Sandoval.
