Verta Lee Splechter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verta Lee Splechter of Sandoval, Illinois, who passed away on November 22, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Skeen and Margaret Skeen (Jordan); her husband Bobby Leo Splechter; her son-in-law Brad Wolenhaupt; and her grandson-in-law Travis Bierman.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Joseph Splechter (Terri) of Sandoval, Becky Allen (Norman) of Sandoval and Lisa Wolenhaupt Centralia; her grandchildren, Gary Gelsinger, Robbie Gelsinger, LeeAnn Gelsinger, Brionna Bierman, Kasey Rankin, Kathryn Bouchard, Tim Wolenhaupt and Chris Wolenhaupt; her great grandchildren, Mark, Taylor, Hailey, Jenna, Cody, Jordan, Benjamin, Abigail, Tayshia, Tatiyona, Jessica, Noah, Carter, Malakhai, Isla, Aria and Rhys; her great great grandchildren, Ryan, Aries, Ariella and Ahjunaya; and her great grandchild Adriel. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Memorials may be made in Verta Lee's honor to Sandoval City Cemetery.
