He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Conklin and Marjorie Conklin; and his brothers-in-law, John Myers, Frank Poole, Kenny Mickelson, Byron Mickelson and Clifford Mickelson.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Nick Conklin (Dawn) and Stacy Davis (Brandon); and his sisters, Marjean Myers of Ft. Myers, FL and Judy Poole of Concord, NC.. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
