With sadness, we share the passing of Elaine Fitzpatrick (Sandwich, Illinois). Elaine, born on July 17, 1929 in Oak Park, Illinois, passed away on August 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Schutter and Rose Schutter; her husband William Francis Fitzpatrick; her siblings, Florence and Richard; and her son Michael.
She is survived by: her children, Rosanne (Edward), Eileen Salamone (late Joseph), William (Julie), Thomas (Arlene), Joseph (Brenda) and Richard (Linda); her grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew, Kristin, Gina Salamone, Thomas Salamone, Jacob, Dana Fiandra, Rachel Ott, Colin, Rowan, Conor, Bryan, Liam, Emily, Maggie Leavitt and Richard; and her great grandchildren, Maddison, Sophie, Mabel and Henry.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Beverage Family Funeral Home (104 Terry St, Sandwich, IL 60548). A Mass was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (320 S Depot St, Somonauk, IL 60552).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lake Holiday Garden Club.
