He was predeceased by: his parents, George Eibel and Louise Eibel (Hassig); and his sister Georgia Bookwalter. He is survived by: his sons, Braden and Travis Eibel; his wife Vicki Atkinson; his daughter Lorin; his granddaughters, Lorin, Ashley Eibel and Mandy Eibel Savannah Grace (Travis); his sibling's children, Dwayne Bookwalter (Marsha) and Amy Kubicek (James); his great-nieces, Laura (Dakota Waalkins) and Jessica Bookwalter; his cousins, Mickey Clary (Mary), Sharon MacClenaghan and Mary Ann Rosa; his aunt Louise Eibel; and also Teagan Rae Waalkins.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
