He was predeceased by: his parents, Onne Miedema and Edna Miedema (Slinkman); and his wife Joyce Miedema. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Miedema of Dekalb, IL, David Miedema of Miami, FL, Debbie Fredricks (Gerry) of Robinson, KS and James Miedema (Jill) of Bolingbrook, IL; his grandchildren, Mitch and Tawney; and his brothers, Otto Miedema and Dale Miedema.
