She was predeceased by: her parents, Lola Sherrill and Jackson Sherrill; her brother Jack Sherrill; and her son-in-law John Adkinson. She is survived by: her husband Harold Gavin; her children, Sheryl Adkinson, Susan Csiszer, Kathleen Clark (Terry), Teresa Riebe, Steve Gavin (Cassie) and Patricia Lappe; and her sister Dixie Nothwang. She is also survived by seventeen Grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and one great- great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Turner-Eighner Funeral Home - Somonauk (13160 US-34 W, Somonauk, IL 60552). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (340 W Arnold St, Sandwich, IL 60548).
