It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Louis Hodous of Sandwich, Illinois, who passed away on April 10, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Miles Hodous and Grace Hodous (Crosby); his wife Carolyn Hodous; and his siblings, Susan Johnson (Charles), Penelope Steinbach (Warren), James "Jimmy" Hodous (Nancy) and Betty Riedy (James).
He is survived by: his children, Richard "Mike" (Ashley) and Kathryn Oganovich (Jason); his grandchildren, Tayler Marshall (Jake), Madeline and Jason Oganovich Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Hunter, Kacey and Bennett Marshall.
