Maurer of Sandwich; his sons, Charles Maurer and Matthew Maurer (Brandy); his grandchildren, Jordan, Maxwell, Rachel and Alexander Maurer; and his siblings, Richard Maurer (Pat) of Aurora, Judy Flanagan (late Larry) of St. Charles and Donna Noble of Yorkville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
