Suzanne S. Burton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2025, at the age of 85, Suzanne S. Burton of Sandwich, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Suzanne may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Suzanne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Tom Burton; her sons, Tom Jr. (Jill) and Scott Burton; her grandchildren, Tom III, David (Sydni), Denham Lizzio, Jessica Lizzio and Ben Burton; and her great grandchild Brooks Burton.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Beverage Family Funeral Home (104 Terry St, Sandwich, IL 60548). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (320 S Depot St, Somonauk, IL 60552). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at the Saint John's Catholic Cemetery (320 S Depot St, Somonauk, IL 60552).
