He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry S. Wright and Mary Wright (Iftner); his stepmother June Wright; his former wife Virginia; his siblings, Harry Wright, Carol Beck (Terry) and Georgia Scherer (Ron); his parents-in-law, Stanley and Ethel Shuck; his sister-in-law Jane Kloog (Bob); his son-in-law John Riha; his nephews, Harry Wright III, Allen Schultz, Glenn Beck and Lance Meyer; and his niece Melissa Meyer.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie; his children, Duane Gatrel (Bea), Deanna Riha, Melinda Collins (Rick), Anita Foster (Mike) and Nicole Horner; his sister Marilyn Whitman (Bill); and his sister-in-law Helen Wright. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Beverage Family Funeral Home (104 Terry St, Sandwich, IL 60548). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
