It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Hoppe of Savanna, Illinois, born in Fairfax, South Dakota, who passed away on February 20, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William Hoppe and Maria Hoppe (Peters); his wife Maryann Luke; his children, Linda and Greg; his grandson Eric; and his siblings, Lila, Milda, Edna, Esther, Albert and Melvin.

He is survived by : his sons, Michael Hoppe (Cindy) of Clinton, Kelly Hoppe (Kristen) of Bettendorf and Kevin Hoppe (Linda) of North Carolina; and his sisters, Shirley Erickson of Chicago, IL and Lily Perlenfein of South Dakota. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
