With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Garnet Martin of Savoy, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 10, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Garnet Martin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Worlow and Freeda Worlow (Barnhouse); her spouse Gene Martin; her granddaughter Garnet Litherland; and her brothers, Chlores Worlow and Caroll Worlow.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Reed (Brian) of Savoy, IL, Dawn Toland (Bill) of Urbana, IL and Michael Litherland of Ina, IL; her stepchildren, Laurie Martin of Champaign, IL, Shelly (Eddie), Clement of Crawford, CO and Michael Martin (Stephanie) of Champaign, IL; and her brother Doyle Worlow (Linda) of Girard, IL.. She is also survived by Eight grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel (1900 Philo Rd, Urbana, IL 61802).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
