She is survived by: her husband Harry T. Demeris; her children, Catherina Demeris Cain, Christina Demeris Mohr and Theodore James Demeris; her grandchildren, Alexis Cain, Nicholas Demeris, Jessica Cain, Natalie Demeris Crawford, Stephanie Mohr, Christina Cain, Anastatia Mohr Johansen and Whitney Cain; her great grandchildren, Teddy Crawford and Mila Crawford; and her caregivers, Brenda, Melissa and Jessica.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Three Hierarchs Greek Orthodox Church or the Champaign County Humane Society in Hazel's memory.
