With solemn reverence, we commemorate Helen Shierry (Savoy, Illinois), whose life came to an end on September 26, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bob; her siblings, Edith McCauley, Ruth Deem and Charles Corl; and her parents, Floyd Corl and Nellie Corl.
She is survived by: her siblings, Carol Blankenberg (Phil) of Monticello and Tom Corl (Mary Cotton) of Oxford, MD.; her daughter Diane Adams (Rob) of Champaign; her granddaughter Katherine Adams Colon; her great grandchild MJ of New York; and her grandsons, Spencer Adams of Champaign and Andrew Adams of Chicago. She is also survived by family also includes many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and a great-grand niece.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
Memorials may be made to the Champaign Public Library Foundation, Faith United Methodist Church or The Salvation Army.
