She was predeceased by : her parents, Valer Secarea and Emilia Secarea (Verdea). She is survived by : her husband David Berg; her children, Richard Henry Berg of Dallas, TX, Frances Ann Berg of Alberquerque, NM and Rebecca Blakeslee (Thomas) of Vincennes, IN; her grandson Robert Blakeslee; and her sister Rebecca Maganuco of Glencoe, IL.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Champaign County Humane Society, 4003 Kearns Drive, Champaign, Illinois 61822.
