She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kalkowski and Marie Kalkowski; and her husband Kevin McGowan. She is survived by: her son William (Sophia); her granddaughter Lily; her sister Marcy Hill; her brother-in-law Ken Hill; her nephew Kevin; and her nieces, Linda, Karen and Beverly.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Michaels Funeral Home & Cremation Care (800 S Roselle Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60193). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Archangels Parish at St. Matthew Catholic Church (1005 E Schaumburg Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60194). A burial was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
